Long-time St. Charles employee and Family Kitchen meal team leader Tracy Parmele died of cancer last August. In her memory and near the anniversary of her death, six co-workers are taking over meal service at Family Kitchen on August 5th.

The Community Thanksgiving Meal - Bend's Community Center

Family Kitchen serves seven meals over six days each week. Bend's Community Center serves the community free meal on Sundays - AND on Thanksgiving! We encourage potential volunteers to contact BCC if you are looking to serve specifically on Thanksgiving Day 541-312-2069. Bend High Student Raises $ During Marathon

Ella decided to train for and run her first marathon. Along the way, she figured she might be able to do some good in her community by dedicating her training and race to Family Kitchen. She ran the Portland Marathon this October (2014) and came in 4th in her age bracket. She also raised $421 for Family Kitchen. Way to go, Ella!! And THANK YOU!
